What's everyone's view on couponing and using SNAP? There have been many times that I have "bought" free items using my coupons at the dollar stores and my SNAP benefits to not pay taxes, if there are any, which results in totally free food that doesn't go against my food stamps balance! Couponing is essential if you are on Food Stamps. I prefer sites like red plum and then find stores that double or triple up my coupons. We make great use of the dollar stores (legit $1 stores) and get items for deep discounts or basically for free. Also it helps when you grab up one of this "Manufacturer Coupon" books at the check out isles in stores. My friends say its scummy thing to grab a bunch of them but no one has ever stopped me. They are there for the taking and what ever coupons that you have extra left over, you can Ebay them like these people: People selling coupons and making cash

I print the coupons from the computer and have my kids cut them out to make busy work for them (remember to use this idea!) and we have saved hundreds of dollars each year. Plus we use the big coupons on double & triple coupon days at the store. lowes food has those massive coupon saver days every couple of months. when you have a handful of $.50 - $2.00 coupons the double-triple days really help.

Even before food stamps we cut coupons. Something my grandmother and I would do when I was a child and that I carried with me into later life. Its worth the time

I register with a lot of name brand websites to get free coupons directly from them. They start sending you more of them if you use them within the specified time frame. Its tracked by computers so they see you buy their products with a coupon, it makes them more inclined to send you offers and discounts.
You can get a lot of milk and egg coupons if you do this. Plus razors galore. lol
