I clip the sunday newspaper coupons. Every one clipped reduces my bills so its worth the time. You can save over $20 per shopping visit if you do it right with coupons. Even at $5 in savings its always worth it. That's what I do too. manufacturer coupons also help stretch your budget. I find that making a yahoo email address for coupons works great. Then you can go to all the manufacturer websites and give that email and have specials and deal coupons sent to you and not spam up your main email. Print the ones you like and you are set. Ive been doing this for years and have saved a lot of money.

What's everyone's view on couponing and using SNAP? There have been many times that I have "bought" free items using my coupons at the dollar stores and my SNAP benefits to not pay taxes, if there are any, which results in totally free food that doesn't go against my food stamps balance! Couponing is essential if you are on Food Stamps. I prefer sites like red plum and then find stores that double or triple up my coupons. We make great use of the dollar stores (legit $1 stores) and get items for deep discounts or basically for free. Also it helps when you grab up one of this "Manufacturer Coupon" books at the check out isles in stores. My friends say its scummy thing to grab a bunch of them but no one has ever stopped me. They are there for the taking and what ever coupons that you have extra left over, you can Ebay them like these people: People selling coupons and making cashThat's a creative approach to extra coupons laying around that wont be used. Allthe time I see coupon booklets at the counter of gas stations and walgreens/cvs. Im gonna take one next time and sell it on ebay. I want to see if this works. A few dollars a week adds up in six months or a year.

some people value tangible coupons over digital copies and home-printed coupons. But be advised some coupons *could* be voided if transferred.

redplum is great for value coupons. It's worth taking the extra effort and signing up at the manufactures websites for products you use often. Usually you can get free coupons right then or they will occasionally mail you them to your inbox. Just use a separate email address like [insert word here]coupons@yahoo.com or use a separate gmail account so this way you aren't overtaken in spam messages on your main email account. It also helps you organize better when you have a dedicated email account for your couponing and signing into food manufactures websites.
