I've done a fair amount of searching.in which I haven't come up with anything my self.the best idea I can come up with.is to check Craig's list.and stop at garage/yard/estate sales.then do a system restore on it.but only if you can find one that way.

There are programs available to help low-income households get a laptop for free, typically requiring proof of government assistance. The ACP program provides a one-time $100 voucher applicable to the purchase of a laptop for those who qualify for SNAP or EBT. Non-profit organizations such as Computers with Causes, On It Foundation, PCs for People, National Cristina Foundation, Human I-T, and Everyone On provide free or low-cost laptops to financially disadvantaged households.

While there aren't any government giveaways of free laptops for EBT recipients, there are some excellent options to get a low-cost device and internet plan. Here's a breakdown: Free or heavily discounted laptops
- ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program): This government program partners with internet providers to offer discounts on laptops and internet plans for low-income households. Many EBT recipients qualify for ACP. ACP program offers a $100 voucher towards a laptop, tablet, or desktop for qualifying low-income families. You need to be on SNAP (uses EBT cards) and have an income below 200% of the poverty line.
- ConnectHomeUSA: This program provides subsidized internet and devices, including laptops, to low-income households in HUD-assisted housing. See if you qualify at ConnectHomeUSA.
Non-profit organizations
Several non-profits like PCs for People, Human I-T, and the National Cristina Foundation, FreeGeek offer refurbished laptops at low costs or even free to those in need. Here's how to get started: Check your ACP eligibility: See if your zip code qualifies for ACP on the official website (https://www.fcc.gov/acp). Contact your internet provider: Many major providers like T-Mobile and StandUp Wireless offer ACP plans with free or discounted laptops. Explore non-profit options: Search online for non-profits in your area that provide discounted laptops. They can also help you navigate the ACP program. here are various references that can help you getgovtgrants.com/free-laptop-with-food-stampswww.linkedin.com/pulse/how-get-free-laptop-food-stamps-get-government-grants-and-help/www.linkedin.com/pulse/free-laptop-ebt-application-form-get-government-grants-and-help-6mgkc/
