My wife turned me on to the site supertracker.gov. We track our diets with it and its helped us pick out better foods that fill us up longer while watching our weight. I went from 215 pounds and lost roughly 15 pounds in 4 months. IMO its helped. Ive been able to better watch my intake levels and the site breaks down your daily and weekly, monthly fat, calories, sugar, salt, omeaga-blah blah. It will calculate if your deficient or over using a particular vitamin or sodium. My wife has done better weight loss wise than me but she uses the feature on the site that tracks your calories burned based upon daily activities and how much calories she consumed based upon what food she ate that day. Its sophisticated but very simple to use. Her dietician recommended she try the site and we since have been using it

this is a nice find. Thanks for posting the link. Now how can the government produce a site like super tracker and have issues with the health care website?? These two things conflict!
but good to see they are trying to think creatively with government weightless programs.

and finally a government site that works and its about diet and nutrition intake.. (roll eyes now) good find! the site is fun to use but I am not looking forward to seeing how bad I eat knowing how bad I eat lolol.. the feature that shows you your intake percentages and graphs them out into charts is awesome. Plus I can pre-calculate my meals calories and not have to re enter it when I remake the meal again. it saves all your entered data and extrapolates it into user defined charts and information, amongst other things and features.
They (government) needs to promote this site in a greater fashion.

Supertracker can teach you about your eating habits. They make use of charts and graphs in explaining your individual details so it really helps to illustrate your strong and weak points.
