Hi, I'm separated from my spouse whom I filed join tax returns with and might do so next tax year. I'm thinking of applying for snap benefits in NYC as single/head of household for myself along with my 2 kids under the age of 16 who permanently lives with me. I wonder if I do so it will affect me in the future or the other party I'm separated from?
