I only get around 25 a month on my ebt. So most of the products I get tend to be generic and store brand. so normally, no I don't use coupons when I go.

I register with a lot of name brand websites to get free coupons directly from them. They start sending you more of them if you use them within the specified time frame. Its tracked by computers so they see you buy their products with a coupon, it makes them more inclined to send you offers and discounts. You can get a lot of milk and egg coupons if you do this. Plus razors galore. lol Manufacturer coupons can really help out espically if you shop at Dollar Tree. We have paid incredibly low prices on food products there using MC's, getting the item a few times for free and many times at drastic reductions. Dollar tree has varying products at times so you have to keep an eye out and stay posted on when you get a food coupon over 50-cents+. It's a real shine to see the lady's face when I hand her 8 cents for tax and thats it and walk out getting the product basically for free. it's even better when they just hand you the item because it cost a dollar and you had a dollar off manufacturer coupon and its a food item so its not taxed. Those are the best shopping experiences!

sometimes coupons get cut at my house. I try to buy the less expensive items and not always do coupons make the difference. Condiment & Cereal coupons I like to clip because I can always go to Walmart and they will match a competitors price/coupons.

I always make use of coupons. It takes having a balanced budget model for your food needs. If you have a little surplus of cash for food, you can always make use of the money and soon-to-expire coupons that you have. A little patience is a virtue that pays off handsomely when you use it correctly.

I clip the sunday newspaper coupons. Every one clipped reduces my bills so its worth the time. You can save over $20 per shopping visit if you do it right with coupons. Even at $5 in savings its always worth it.
